Product Description: This drum has been painted by our drum maker and teacher Dorothy Stone.

Our owner Zacciah has used a 22" REMO Native American Style synthetic vegan drum, as his main drum for his therapeutic session, meditations and ceremonies, for many years. The tone they produce can be rich and multilayered, with a deep bass note, and lots of vibration. Because the head of the drum is made from a synthetic material, the drum can be played in all weather conditions and the sound of the drum will be the same. This means that you don't need to think of if the head of your drum is too tight or too loose before playing it. You can just pick the drum up and it is good to go. The drum can even be played in the rain!  For these reasons the Buffalo drum is an excellent choice for drum circles, sweat lodges, healing, ritual, and ceremony.
