Product Description: This is a small cloth wrapped ball mallet designed by the mallet experts at Dragonfly Percussion. It is lightweight and generally easy to hold and weald. This mallet has been tested on 6" bowls up to 14" bowls. In all cases the mallet produced a very clean coherent note from the bowl, with a good balance between low and high tones, at a really good volume. A hard wooden mallet does bring out more tone from the bowl, but brings out the high notes too much. A soft mallet does bring out the low tones but is often too quiet. This is a great all around mallet.
