Product Description: The 16 inch REMO black bahia frame drum is lightweight and easy to hold for long periods of time. I picked up this drum a few years ago, and it quickly took the place of my natural hide drum. The synthetic head of the drum is specially designed to create a pure bass note. There is not a higher note to this drum. It is only a bass note. It is highly resonant, and will fill a room with the low bass tone. Because the drum is synthetic, you can play this drum in humid and dry conditions, even sweat lodges, and it will play the same. The back of the drum is wrapped in a cross pattern with a thicker rope grip to easily hold onto. The drum is made in the United States. It comes with a free black beater.
