Product Description: This has become our standard silicon based mallet we ship out with every bowl. It is a hybrid between a ball striker, and a standard straight mallet. You can play the bowl further down the side, or on the rim. The silicon is soft, so it gets rid of most of the contact noise between the bowl and the mallet. The silicon is also a little bit hard, so it give brings the tone of from the bowls fairly quickly. It is lightweight, and comfortable in the hand.
