What Sets This Flute Apart / Why We Offer This Instrument

These flutes are made by Traditional Native American Artists and enrolled members of the United Cherokee Ani-Yun-Wiya Nation. The flutes are well tuned instruments, with tones that are cleaner and more rounded then many Native American style flutes we have tried and offered. We are grateful to be able to offer these true Native American flutes to our customers, as we believe the tonal quality of them represent a really high quality example of the craft.

How Does This Instrument Support Sound Healing or Meditation?

The mellow, rounded tone of this flute in the Key of G is deeply grounding yet is as well uplifting. Playing the flute is a direct path towards present awareness, grounded in the hear and now. But as well, it is a platform for expressing and exploring intentionality and emotionality, bringing oneself and clients on a journey of their mind, like drifting on the winds in the sky. Set an intentionality for inner wellness, and play a tune of inner wellness, and experience the sunshine beam from within; set an intentionality for presence, and play the song of presence, and find oneself deep in this moment.

We personally will play a flute at the beginning of a sound bath, to help people find a place of presence and calm before going in deeper with instruments like a gong or crystal bowl. Or, we also will play a flute at the end, to signify the end of the sound bath, and help transition people to a place of gathering for group discussion, or whatever is next.

Learn to Play With Confidence

Included with your purchase is a free educational video that walks you through the fundamentals of flute playing—breathing, finger placement, and playing with intention. We recommend setting aside quiet time to explore your flute in a peaceful setting. Let your breath be slow, your presence steady, and your song will emerge.

Pair This Flute With Other Instruments

The flute’s Key of G blends beautifully with:

  • Crystal Singing Bowls in the key of G or C

  • Metal or wooden chimes for texture and shimmer

  • Shamanic drums for grounding rhythm

  • Ocean or rain sticks for atmospheric layering
