Product Description: The rattle on the end of this drum beaters adds another rhythmical layer to the drumming. You get to interact not only with the drum beat, but also the shaking of the rattle in beat with the drum. The rattle increases rhythmical entrainment, and provide a more soothing experience.
The rattle is made by a Cree artisan living in Nevada (though originally out of Northern Canada). He has made rattles for ceremony from a young age. His rattles are exquisite works of art, and is his Sacred Art. The deer rawhide of the rattle is filled with Sacred Creek Rock fill, in just the right proportion to make a full, pleasing and powerful sound with every shake.
The deer hide head of the drum beater provides a good deal of power and a full tone from the drum. You will get a mix of the lower bass and higher tone of the drum with this beater.
