And, throughout the year, we find additional non-profits,
whom are providing services to better our world,
whom we support with further independent donations.

Zacciah Blackburn - Owner and Sound Healing Instructor

Non-Profit Organization - Women One

Zacciah Blackburn started Sunreed Instruments in 1977, and has spent his life teaching sound healing in the path of self-realization.

"Since I was a young boy, I was taught love and respect for the beauty of the natural world. As a young man, I experienced Unity consciousness, and understood that All Life is connected. Since that time, I have devoted myself to spiritual development and service, and support all causes that recognize the importance of the natural world, indigenous peoples, sustainable living, and appreciation for and equality of race and gender. At this time, I am choosing the womenone.org non profit organization for their work toward creating positive change in the lives of women and girls globally through access to quality education. I greatly appreciate their motto: "Educate a girl. Change the world." It brings me even greater appreciation for my own daughter's work educating young women in Vietnam in creative writing. She has always said she wants to empower young women in this way. This makes me feel I am supporting her dream as well, by supporting WomenOne and their work to educate girls internationally."

She is happy that you have found us and looks forward to being of service to you on your healing path.

"I believe very strongly that in order to build a better, safer and more secure world, especially for children, it is imperative that communities need to step forward to assist in providing adequate housing.  We all need a place to call home."

Julie Jones - Warehouse Manager

Non-Profit Organization - Vermont Foodbank

Julie Jones is thrilled to be working for Sunreed again!  She is a life long believer and practitioner in holistic healing, and enjoys spending time with her wife and 4 legged friend.

"My Non-Profit is the Vermont Food Bank.  There are so many children and families who do not have adequate food supplies in Vermont.  I worked with a Middle School guidance counselor who had a food closet in her office for children who needed food on the weekends and through out the week.  Food insecurity is a major problem in Vermont."
