Remo and Pakistani shamanic frame drums.
Remo makes very high quality drums from man made materials, in a variety of styles similar to Native American drums. The Remo drums never lose their voice due to humidity, like natural skin drums do. They have rope ties with plastic covering on the back to hold easily while playing. While not made from natural skin, the voice of the drums are as deep and rich as one can find for most other drums of equivalent size.
The Pakistani drums are well made, inexpensive, very good sounding drums. They are excellent starter drums or for those on a budget, but do not compare to the traditional Native style of drums. They have a glued, goat skin hide, and stay playable as well as any natural hide drum in humid conditions. There is a cross lace on the back for ease of holding.
Each of these drums comes with a beater.
