Every audio package includes a complimentary one-hour online consultation to help you set up and learn the system.

Working with sound online requires equipment that can accurately capture the full range of tone produced by instruments such as crystal bowls, gongs, and drums.
Standard phone or computer microphones are not designed for this and often miss both the depth and clarity of the sound.

This package is designed for practitioners who want to play instruments and speak clearly, while moving freely between instruments or around their space. Each component has been carefully selected based on our own experience working with sound in both live and online environments.

With the addition of a speaker system, this setup can also be used for in-person sessions.

How the System Works

The condenser microphone captures your instruments, while the wireless voice microphone captures your speech.

The voice microphone connects wirelessly to a receiver, which is then connected to the mixer. The instrument microphone connects directly to the mixer using an XLR cable.

The mixer allows you to balance and shape the sound, and then sends the combined signal to your computer via USB. Your computer recognizes the mixer as the audio input for Zoom, recording software, or live streaming platforms.

During your included consultation, we will guide you through setup and show you how to adjust the system for your instruments and space.

Is This the Right Setup for Me?

This package is ideal if you:

• Move between instruments during your sessions
• Want freedom to walk or reposition without managing cables
• Are speaking and playing at the same time

With one instrument microphone, you can comfortably cover an area of approximately 3 × 3 feet—such as a small group of crystal bowls, chimes, or a single larger instrument.

If you are working with a wider setup, multiple instrument types, or want more detailed coverage, a 3-microphone system may be a better fit.

SE7 or SE8 — Which Should I Choose?

Both are high-quality condenser microphones designed for instruments:

• SE7 – well suited for mid-range instruments such as bowls and chimes
• SE8 – offers greater depth and detail, especially for lower-frequency instruments like gongs and drums

Lavalier or Headset — Which Wireless Microphone Should I Choose?

Both options provide clear, reliable voice capture, with slightly different benefits:

Lavalier (clip-on) microphone

• Clips onto your shirt at chest level
• Discreet and visually minimal
• Keeps your face unobstructed

Because it attaches to clothing, it may occasionally pick up fabric noise as you move. With proper placement, this can usually be minimized.

Headset microphone

• Worn on your head with the microphone positioned near your mouth
• Consistent, stable sound quality regardless of movement
• Ideal for more active sessions

It is more visible, which may be a factor depending on your presentation style.

Why Not Use a USB Microphone?

USB microphones are simple to use but are generally not designed to capture the full range and intensity of sound healing instruments. They often lack the depth and clarity needed for these applications.

This system uses professional audio equipment designed specifically to handle the complexity of these instruments, resulting in a more accurate and immersive sound.
