Rain Sticks

The Sound of Falling Rain.

Rain sticks create a flowing cascade of sound as seeds or beads travel slowly through the length of the instrument. The sound unfolds like steady rainfall. In meditation and sound healing sessions, rain sticks are often used to calm the atmosphere of a room or to create transitions between different phases of a practice. Their sound naturally encourages slower breathing and deeper listening.
