Shipping & Care
At Sunreed™, we take great care in preparing each instrument before it leaves our shop. Many of the instruments we offer are handmade or individually selected, and each one is carefully inspected, listened to, and packed so it arrives safely and ready for practice.
Processing Time
Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
We ship within the United States using trusted carriers such as FedEx and USPS. Tracking information is provided once your order ships.
Estimated delivery times:
- Continental U.S.: 3–5 business days
- Alaska & Hawaii: 3–10 business days
International Shipping
We ship worldwide. Please note:
- Delivery times vary by destination. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your order to arrive.
- For heavy or oversized items, a shipping deposit will be charged at checkout
- Final shipping costs will be confirmed within 1 business day of your order
- Differences in actual shipping costs will be charged or refunded accordingly
Customs & Import Fees
Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to:
- customs duties
- import taxes
- local handling fees
These duties and taxes are NOT included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the recipient. You may be required to pay customs fees upon delivery.
Customs processes may also cause delays beyond standard delivery estimates.
Caring for Your Instruments on Arrival
Many instruments are made from natural materials such as wood, bamboo, metal, leather, and crystal. These materials can respond to temperature and humidity changes.
When your instrument arrives:
- allow it to rest and acclimate before extended use
- avoid sudden environmental changes
- store in a stable indoor environment
- use protective cases when available
Over time, instruments often reveal more of their voice as your relationship with them deepens.
