About the Fibonacci Sequence

The Fibonacci tuning system is based on a sequence of numbers that appears widely in nature—found in patterns such as shells, plants, and spirals.

Each fork in the series is defined by a ratio derived from the Fibonacci sequence (1/1, 1/2, 2/3, 3/5, 5/8, 8/13, 13/21, 21/34), creating relationships that move in a spiral-like progression rather than a linear scale.

When these forks are sounded together—often using the 1/1 fork as a reference—they produce subtle, evolving intervals that can feel fluid, layered, and exploratory. The resulting sound field is less fixed and more dynamic, inviting a different quality of listening.
