This extra-long, weighted gong mallet is designed for working with larger bowls and gongs—where deeper tones require both reach and presence.

With its extended handle and substantial head, it allows the sound to emerge fully, without force.

A Deep and Softened Contact

The striker head is formed from a weighted rubber core, wrapped in purple wool yarn.

This combination softens the initial impact while maintaining enough density to activate the lowest fundamental tones. The wool covering reduces sharp contact, allowing the sound to open gradually into a fuller and more grounded resonance. The result is a deep, stable tone with minimal percussive edge.
