This 22" REMO Ocean Drum offers a wide and continuous wave of sound—formed through gentle movement and sustained motion.

Larger in size, it allows the internal beads to travel more fully, creating longer, deeper, and more immersive waves.

A Fluid and Expansive Voice

The sound rises and falls in slow, rolling layers.

As the drum is tilted, the beads move across the surface—blending into a continuous field rather than distinct strikes. The larger frame allows the motion to extend, giving the sound more depth and duration.

Slower movement creates long, steady waves.

More active motion introduces variation and texture.

A Visual Field of Attention

The surface features the Om symbol, surrounded by circular Sanskrit script.

The pattern draws the eye inward while maintaining a sense of continuity around the edge. Over time, the visual field can begin to support the listening—attention moving between image and sound.
