Care for Your Native American Style Cedar Flute

Our cedar Native American flutes are made with love. In order to extend the life of the flute and keep your flute in good playing order, we recommend the following tips. Keep your flute out of direct sunlight. Avoid sudden temperature changes to the flute, do not take flute outside on cold snowy nights. Keep your whistle block from sticking with a gentle twist, and untie it after playing to dry out the compression chamber. This helps to avoid mildew inside the body of the flute. When traveling, if you don't have a flute case you can pack your flutes in a suitcase with lots of soft padding. Some people have used rifle or gun cases to protect their flutes. Enjoy your flute!!!!!
