Many practitioners enjoy vocalizing into the drum during meditation or sound baths, allowing the drum to naturally color and extend the voice with a warm acoustic resonance.

The 16" REMO Black Bahia Frame Drum is your reliable friend. It offers a different but equally valuable voice. Designed to produce a pure, soothing bass note, it has become a favorite among many practitioners for its consistency and warmth. Because the synthetic drumhead is unaffected by humidity and changing weather conditions, the soothing voice remains steady from one session to the next, providing a familiar tone whenever it is needed.
The included Sunreed™ Soft Beater has been selected specifically for its ability to draw out the deepest and warmest tones from both drums. Its balanced weight and soft head allow the drums to respond fully without becoming harsh, making it our highest recommendation for bringing out their most resonant voices.
