Product Description: Meinl Symphonic Tam Tams or Gongs, are made of their special nickelsilver alloy. These play very similar to the a chau gong, though are highly refined in their harmonies. The gong will start with a clear low fundamental note, and build in clear controlled harmonics into a harmonic crash. There is a lot of refinement put into the tone of these gongs. They are guaranteed to play within a half-note range, so they are very carefully crafted, and you have greater certainty to the sound of the gong you are going to receive.
