Product Description: This drum beater is made by the Maidu drum maker who makes most of our Native American Frame Drums. This is a traditional style of drum beater, with hide wrapped around the end of a stick. A fringed handle is added, as well as jingle cones for an added sound effect while playing. This is a harder drum beater so will bring out both the lower and higher tones of a drum with a good deal of power, unlike a soft beater which will just bring out the lower tones of a drum.
