Pow Wow Drum Stands

This Pow Wow drum stand is designed to hold the drum in a suspended position—allowing the sound to move freely.

By lifting the drum off the ground and supporting it through tension, the resonance can open more fully, with less restriction at the base.

A Supportive and Open Form

The stand holds the drum by rope, allowing it to hang between the posts.

This creates space around the drum, so the tone can expand in all directions. The structure remains stable, while the drum itself is free to respond.

Each post includes a tie point, making it easy to adjust and secure the drum at the desired height.

Use in Practice

This stand supports both individual and group playing.

In practice, it may support:
