Hummingbird Medicine w/ Rose Quartz Rattle

These rattles are hand-crafted and painted by a Cree artisan now living in Nevada, whose work grows from a lifelong relationship with ceremonial rattle making.

Each piece is shaped with care and attention to both form and sound. The handle is designed for a steady, comfortable grip, allowing the rattle to move naturally in the hand.

The rawhide head is filled with creek stone, balanced to create a tone that is full, clear, and consistent with each shake.

The paintings are done by hand, with each rattle carrying its own subtle variation in detail and expression. While themes may repeat, no two are exactly alike.

In practice, these rattles offer a grounded and supportive presence. The sound is steady and rounded, making them well-suited for both personal work and ceremonial use. Over time, the tone and rhythm tend to deepen through use, becoming something you come to know through repetition and listening.
