Giant 8 Bowl 432hz Himalayan Metal Singing Bowl Chakra Set
Lower register. Expansive presence.
This set brings together eight large Himalayan metal singing bowls, arranged in a full tonal sequence from C through to C in a lower 2nd octave register.
The increased size of the bowls allows the tones to develop with more depth, sustain, and physical presence.
Each bowl is hand-selected in Nepal, with attention to how the tones relate across the full set. Tuning is confirmed to align with 432hz
A Note About Our Source
We are so happy to have met our new metal bowl curator, who lives and works in Nepal. He specializes in hand picking metal bowls for tuned 8 bowl chakra sets. Our curator chooses these bowls specifically because they play within perfect pitch 432hz.
Achieving a set like this is difficult. We have been on the look out for a way to consistently provide well tuned 8 bowl sets for many years. Metal bowls are multi-tonal, so they play a wide variety of tones. It is difficult to get bowls that all pay in harmony with each other because of this. Our curator does a good job to make sure that the bowls are in good alignment with each other.
When the bowls are tapped, they play with a nice balance between the fundamental and overtones, creating a pretty coherent note structure. The bowls also are able to be sung around the rim with the suede mallet.
A Deep and Resonant Field
With this larger format, the sound carries differently.
- The tones move more slowly.
- They expand outward, with a longer decay and a more grounded quality.
When played together, the bowls form a wide and immersive field. The lower frequencies create a sense of weight and stability, while the upper tones within the set bring clarity without losing that depth.
Rather than moving quickly between tones, this set often invites a slower pace—allowing each sound to fully arrive and fade.
Use in Practice
This set naturally supports a more spacious approach.
You might begin with a single bowl, allowing its tone to settle fully in the body and the room. From there, additional bowls can be introduced gradually—letting the relationships form without urgency.
In practice, this set can support:
- working with lower frequencies and longer sustain
- creating a deep, immersive sound environment
- slowing the pace of playing and listening
- allowing attention and relaxation to settle through extended tones
Form and Feel
Due to their size, these bowls offer a strong and stable resonance.
Each rests on its own cushion, allowing it to vibrate freely.
The included mallets and gongers provide different ways of entering the sound—whether through a clear, grounded strike or a slower, sustained tone around the rim.
As with all hand-worked metal bowls, each piece carries slight variations in tone, response, and character.
Tuning Note
Metal bowls produce a range of overtones, and their perceived pitch can shift depending on how they are played.
Digital tuning apps may register slightly different readings as a result. Each bowl in this set has been selected and verified through both listening and measurement, with attention to the overall coherence of the set.
