Zaphir Chimes

Hold the chime by its string and move it gently—a natural play of harmonies begins to unfold.

The sound is soft, flowing, and continuous. Each tone blends into the next, creating a circular field of resonance that is easy to listen to and easy to rest within. Over time, these chimes have become a trusted presence in meditation, yoga, Feng Shui, sound sessions, and therapeutic spaces.

A Circular and Living Voice

Inside the chime are eight metal rods of varying lengths, joined into a central ring.

Each rod is carefully tuned so that, as the clapper moves, the tones interact in a continuous loop. Rather than a defined beginning or end, the sound moves in cycles—gentle, balanced, and ever-evolving.

A Practice-Centered Approach

This is an instrument of ease and subtlety.

It can be played by hand, or simply placed in a space and allowed to respond to natural movement. A soft gesture is enough to bring the tones forward.

In practice, the sound can support relaxation, focus, and a quiet settling of attention. It does not ask for effort—only listening.

Form and Placement

The compact size makes these chimes easy to use and place.

They can be held, hung in a doorway, or positioned near an open window where a light breeze may activate them naturally—bringing gentle, unexpected melodies into the space.

Outdoor Use

These chimes can be used outdoors in protected areas, such as under a roof or in an open window.

Over time, exposure to weather may soften their finish. Occasional care with oil or varnish can help maintain their appearance. If the chime becomes wet, simply allow it to dry.

Tuning Options

Each chime is available in one of five tunings, inspired by the seasons and elements:
