Sounding The Sacred Feminine Gift Set

A circle of sound. A living return.

This set brings together a small gathering of instruments, centered around a hand-painted deer hide drum—created in collaboration with a Native drum maker, and painted by Dorothy Stone.

The drum carries the image of the bee, set within the geometry of the hexagon—forms that appear throughout nature, from hive to crystal to cosmos. The bee has long been held as a symbol of continuity, fertility, and shared movement. In this way, the drum becomes more than an instrument. It becomes an ally in bringing forward the Sacred Feminine. 

A Layered and Complementary Field

Each instrument offers a distinct way of working with sound.

The drum provides a steady and grounded pulse.
The rattle introduces a softer, circular texture.
The tuning fork offers a clear and focused tone.

They move alongside one another—creating space for both rhythm and stillness.

You might begin with a single instrument—allowing its sound to settle fully before introducing another. Or you may move between them, noticing how each shifts the quality of attention and space.

The drum is hand-crafted and painted, offering a clear, low tone with subtle overtones.
The rattle carries a soft, textured sound through gentle movement.
The tuning fork provides a focused and sustained tone when activated.

Each piece is handmade and will vary slightly in tone, finish, and response.

• A copy of the book of our great colleague Layne Redmond, When The Drummers Were Women, (now deceased, but whose wisdom lives on) who researched the ancient wisdom of women drummers, as well as the Bee Cultures of the Mediterranean, and helped to bring that wisdom back into our awareness;
  
• 111hz Holy Healing Tuning Fork with activator, honoring the resonant frequencies of the Hypogeum Temple of The Great Mother;
  
• Emu Egg of Creation Rattle, honoring the fertile wisdom and greater mysteries of the Great Mother Of Life.
