The Sunreed™ Special Soft Drum Beater offers a gentle, cushioned response that allows the deeper voice of the drum to emerge.

With its padded head and soft materials, the tone unfolds gradually—less defined by attack, and more by its depth and continuity.

A Warm and Expansive Voice

The contact is quiet and yielding.

Lower tones rise more fully, while higher overtones are softened. The result is a sound that feels rounded and immersive—easy to stay with, without sharpness or edge.

Each strike opens into a steady, cohesive tone.

Use in Practice

This beater is well suited for slower, more spacious playing.

In practice, it may support:

It allows the drum to open naturally. There is very little effort required. A softer strike is often enough. From there, the sound begins to expand—revealing the depth already present within the drum.
