7, 8 & 9 Bowl Sets – Understanding the Difference

7 Bowl Set (C–B):
14" C

8 Bowl Set (C–C):
Adds a 8" High C to complete the octave

9 Bowl Set:
Adds a 14" Low F below the root C for extended depth

432Hz or 440Hz Tuning

These sets are available in 432Hz or 440Hz tuning.

• 440Hz is the international standard used across most musical instruments
• 432Hz is slightly lower in pitch across all notes

Both follow the same relationships between notes—the difference lies in the overall reference pitch.

If you plan to play with other instruments, 440Hz is typically preferred.

If you are working solely within the bowl set, either tuning can be used based on personal preference.
