These frosted crystal singing bowls are designed as an extension set—adding the five sharp/flat tones to an existing system, or forming a complete pentatonic scale when used on their own.

Where the standard scale offers a familiar structure, this set introduces the tones in between—expanding the harmonic field and opening new pathways for movement, variation, and exploration.

A Harmonic Extension

Each bowl holds a steady tone.

This set includes the five sharp/flat notes:
13" C#/Db
12" D#/Eb
11" F#/Gb
10" G#/Ab
9" A#/Bb

Optional:
8" High C#/Db

These tones complete the full 12-note system when combined with a standard 7 or 8 bowl set. With all notes present, the field becomes more fluid—allowing for movement across keys, scales, and tonal relationships.

At the same time, the five tones can be approached on their own as a pentatonic scale—simple, open, and naturally cohesive.

A Wider System

With the addition of these tones, the system becomes more flexible.

You may move beyond fixed sequences, allowing sound to shift more freely. The relationships between tones become less predictable, and more responsive to the moment.

Pentatonic Possibility

With the optional high C#/Db, the set becomes a 6-bowl pentatonic scale.
