A Sunreed™ original designed to expand the way handle bowls are played

Crystal handle bowls carry a unique and immersive quality when played directly by hand. Their movement and closeness create a very personal relationship with sound. At the same time, this creates a practical limitation — it becomes difficult to play two handle bowls together, or to combine a handle bowl with another crystal bowl in a harmonic way.

This holder was created to fix this issue. You can now get the most of your handle bowl, playing it easily with other bowls, and also having a convenient place for it to rest when not in use.

A Sunreed™ Original

Jonathan Wood, the manager here at Sunreed, first designed these holders in 2015, making one for his wife so she could expand the ways she worked with her handle bowl. 

Over the years, we've quietly offered these through Sunreed™, though took a hiatus for many years.

This version is a redesign of the original Sunreed™ holder, continuing the same idea with a more refined and stable form. 

Made to Fit Your Bowl

Each holder is made to order and designed around the dimensions of your specific crystal handle bowl. To create the correct fit, we will need the length and width of your bowl’s handle.

You can provide these measurements in the order comments during checkout, or by sending us an email after purchase. We won't make the box without knowing this first.

Because each holder is individually made, orders generally ship about one to two weeks after purchase. If you need yours faster, just let us know.
