This mallet offers a balanced approach to playing crystal singing bowls—combining the qualities of a ball striker and a straight mallet in a single form.

The silicone tip provides a soft point of contact, reducing surface noise while allowing the tone to arise cleanly. At the same time, it carries enough firmness to bring the bowl into sound with ease—without needing excess force.

A Quiet and Responsive Contact

Because of the material, the transition from contact to tone is smooth.

There is less friction at the surface, and less distraction from the initial strike—allowing the sound itself to remain the focus.

The shape allows for flexibility in how it is used.

You may work along the rim, or further down the side of the bowl, depending on the response you are listening for. It may be used for both striking and sustained playing.
