At 14", this bowl is an accessbile starting point for the deep grounding experience of  the 432hz F note. It can hold plenty of vibration, so it is easy to find a nice smooth tonality with the bowl. 

This size is often chosen as a foundation for those beginning to explore a fuller range of crystal bowls, especially when working toward building a larger set.

We use it personally in our practice as a grounding bowl, to root into place here and now, and to go down into the earth and form relationship.

The bowl can easily expand into a much larger harmonic set, melodic pentatonic set, or full chakra set.

Use in Practice

This bowl can serve as a starting place for entering into listening.

You might begin by placing the bowl on its O-ring and allowing a single strike to fully emerge and fade. Over time, you may begin to follow the tone as it expands, working with sustained motion around the rim or alternating between silence and sound.

In practice, this can support a return to steady attention. The lower register invites a slower pace, where listening becomes less about producing sound and more about staying with what is already present.

There is no need to rush into a full set. One bowl is enough to begin.
