Some journeys begin with the search for an instrument.

Others begin with a longing that is harder to name.

For many who visit Sunreed™, the destination is not simply a shop—it is a place to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with something essential. Whether you are an experienced practitioner, a musician, a therapist, or simply someone curious about the world of sound, we invite you to make your visit a pilgrimage rather than an errand.

Give yourself time.

Take the scenic route.

Leave room for the unexpected.

Our collection of singing bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, tuning forks, and other instruments is here to be experienced—not hurried through. Every instrument has its own unique voice, and often the one meant for you reveals itself through listening rather than choosing.

Because of the personal nature of this experience, we welcome most visitors by appointment. This allows us to prepare the space for you, offer unhurried guidance, and create the kind of atmosphere where meaningful discoveries can unfold. Throughout the year, we also host select open-house and drop-in days, offering another way to experience Sunreed™ in community.

For those who choose to welcome an instrument into their lives, the pilgrimage doesn't end when an instrument chooses you.

Instruments purchased in-person here at Sunreed™ allow access to our Stone Circle—a sacred outdoor sanctuary where you are invited to spend time with your new companion before beginning the journey home.

Many visitors choose to sit quietly within the circle, allowing the first tones of a singing bowl, gong, drum, or other instrument to resonate with the land, the sky, and their own heart. It is a beautiful way to begin a relationship with your instrument through presence, intention, and listening.

Within our community, many speak of this as *awakening* an instrument—not because the instrument was asleep, but because something within the relationship begins to awaken. It is a quiet moment of gratitude, connection, and intention that marks the beginning of your shared journey.

An invitation to pause, breathe, listen, and let the first conversation between you and your instrument unfold naturally in a place created for stillness, reflection, and connection.

Some arrive seeking a particular bowl, drum, or gong.

Others come simply to immerse themselves in sound, practice, and place.

Some leave carrying a new instrument.

Others leave carrying a new insight, a renewed sense of connection, a deeper appreciation for silence, or simply the feeling that comes from having given themselves permission to slow down.

Whatever brings you here, we invite you to make a meaningful journey of it.

Spend time with sound.

Listen deeply.

Discover a new instrument.

Sit within the Stone Circle.

Awaken your relationship with your new instrument before beginning the journey home.

Allow yourself to experience not only the instruments, but the stillness that surrounds them.

The instruments will be here.

The countryside will be waiting.

And perhaps, as with all meaningful pilgrimages, you will return home carrying something that cannot be purchased, planned, or anticipated.

Only discovered.

If you would like to visit, we invite you to book an appointment so we can welcome you personally and prepare the space for your arrival. If you happen to visit during one of our seasonal drop-in days, our doors are open and you are equally welcome.
