Product Description: The Brilliant Symphonic Gong is a completely polished version of the Paiste Symphonic Gong. The polished finish does effect the sound of the gong. The gong is all around brighter then its the normal symphonic gong. There is much more emphasis on the higher harmonics and higher binaurals than the low fundamental. The higher harmonics and binaurals pulse and sustain vibrantly. If you are interested in the symphonic style of gong, and want to focus in on the higher notes, then this would be a great choice.
For this gong we suggest the Dragonfly Resonance Series XL mallet. It is exceptional for its light weight and soft, rich tone, and is a good size for this gong.
