These rattles are hand-crafted by Navajo artist Irene Morgan, each one carrying its own variation in form, color, and design.
Made from rawhide and painted by hand, the imagery reflects a personal and traditional style, with each piece expressing its own character. While certain themes may repeat, no two rattles are exactly alike.
The handles are wrapped in leather and often adorned with beadwork and natural materials, adding to the individuality of each rattle.
In practice, these rattles offer a steady and approachable voice. The tone is balanced and easy to work with, making them well-suited for both personal use and shared settings.
Over time, the relationship with the rattle becomes one of familiarity—finding a rhythm that feels natural and allowing the sound to support presence and attention.
