The body is made from mango wood, a dense hardwood known for its durability and balanced weight. Mango wood is also a more sustainable material—harvested from trees that have completed their fruit-bearing life, allowing the wood to be repurposed rather than burned.

The suede surface adds a softer point of contact, expanding the tonal range without adding complexity.
